Hello Everyone! Hope all is well, and January is proving to be happy and relaxing for you.
I have definitely been up to a lot of exciting work and progress and some proper self-care as well, which I am very grateful to be able to focus on more recently. The transcription of my theatre script ins underway, I almost finished within the time I set for myself. But, revisiting my work and making changes, correcting mistakes has taken a toll on my brain this past week. So much so that together with other chores and general adulting, I wasn’t able to stream this week. But next week I am definitely continuing with Baldur’s Gate 3 over at InkMindLive.
Another thing to do for me next week is to read this month’s book from the InkMindReads Goodreads list. Anyone can follow along with me in this year’s reading journey, and join me at the end of each month on InkMindLive as I will be discussing each month’s read in a live stream.
One more exciting new thing, which became my new rabbithole is sticker making. Long story short, my beloved laptop started to give up after years of service (including taking me through university) so, I had to give in an get new equipment. I never owned an Apple product, and I was not happy that I have to get a new piece of equipment, because I always buy everything I possibly can refurbished or used. But this time, I realised that both financially and technically it is better if I get a fresh piece of kit. So, here I am, writing this post on my new Ipad Air. But what does this all have to do with stickers? Ultimately I decided on the Ipad instead of my trusted Microsoft Surface Laptop because I wanted to be able to create stickers, bookmarks and other goodies fo InkMind. Before I started writing things other than poetry I used to paint and draw. But at some point I stopped and kind of forgot about it. Now with the Ipad I am able to make art and expand InkMind. Keep and eye out for Bean the InkMind Cat stickers and other goodies, which will appear this year on our KoFi page.
And with that, it’s the end of this week’s update. Hope all of you had a good weekend, see you over at InkMindLive next week.
